Hello dear visitor, my name is
I live in Australia with my fiance an our two fat cats.
Drawing has always been my passion I have been a general arts and crafts enthusiast my whole life, starting as early as 6... probably. I have dabbled in a lot of things, but drawing has always been my favourite pastime. In 2013 I decided to drawing fantasy inspired doodles and shear my talent with the world. I also have a lot of skills in making photo-realistic drawings and portrates.
I work primarily in graphite pencil, but I weave in a lot of other mediums depending on the mood I want to create. It might be watercolours, coloured pencils or digital paintings, anything really.
Want to make more of my art see the light of day? Make me work for the art I make. For $1, $5 or $10 a month my Supporters on Patreon get bonus perks like downloadable colouring pages and early access to new content.
Thanks for reading.
To start the commission process for some art or art related projects. Please contact me or you can use the contact form below. Fill it with as much detail as possible size, medium (eg: pencil, watercolour) and maybe links to some examples of wht you ae looking for. After I review it, I can provide a precise price estimate. You will find general information further below.
Get in touch with me to find out how I can help get your art project off the ground.
Whenever I describe my painting sizes, I use the ISO standard, which basically means that I refer to it as a4, a5 and so on, I’ve included centimetre sizes for reference.
smaller than a5: $20 – $50
a5 (21cm x 14,8cm) and similar: $50 – $150
a4 (29,7cm x 21cm) and similar: $100 – $200
a3 (42cm x 29,7cm) and similar: $200 – $300
(more if used commercially)
The price depends on the size, amount of detail and usage. Simple background and one character design will cost less than a forest scene with multiple characters. Similarly A4 illustration will cost more than an A5 because of the time and materials used. If the final picture is meant to be used commercially, the price will vary depending on where and how often it will be used.
Also, I do add a small shipping fee. I don’t mind shipping worldwide, but these things can get pretty costly. Before I put a price on my work, I will check what shipping costs are required.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You are very welcome to submit any photos you would like me to use as reference, for example a meadow you see in a nearby forest or a bench in your neighbourhood park. The more precise you are on the subject, the faster and easier it will be to produce an idea that you fall in love with!
If we agree on the subject and price, I will request a 50% payment to be made in advance. This is to show that you’re serious about the commission. This money will not be refunded in case you break the agreement and decide not to purchase the illustration (after it’s finished or during the painting process).
Of course, the money will be refunded if, for various reasons, I won’t be able to deliver. That is very unlikely, because I always finish my work, but there’s always the possibility that I break my right hand and can’t paint anymore.
After the first payment appears in my account, I will send you three small sketches of the ideas I came up with after discussing the subject with you. Out of these three sketches you can choose one that you would like to see as a painting (I’m flexible on this point and open for small changes if necessary, but I will not be making the sketches over and over again).
I will refine the sketch and sample some colours and at that point I will send the sketch to you again for final viewing. After that it’s painting time. It takes about a week for the whole process to be finished, might be a bit longer or shorter, depending on our communication. I am, however very flexible and I’m sure we can figure something out.
After I’m done with the illustration, I will ask you to send me the remaining 50% of the agreed price. After I see the money on my account, I will send the painting to you as soon as possible (most of the time, the next day~)
And voilà! You now own an original illustration made by me.
If you have a specific date before which the painting has to be finished, it might be wise to commission it at least a month before. Shipping time also needs to be taken into consideration. If I have more than one commission going at a certain time it might also slow the process down.
If you have any further questions or need more detailed explanation, please add it to the form. Questions are always welcome and I am happy to help whenever I can!
